Good buy knowing the caveats! See the review below for details. .

Pros --- Great speaker. Without the grill, the copper woofer and horn look great. Even my wife liked its raw look. --- Expected sound - fitting the Klipsch name, plus a 4" woofer. --- Sufficient inputs. Cons --- I think it only supports DTS or Dolby (don't know which). So if you're using an optical connection *some* (not all) shows on RevainPrime/Netflix generate junk noise as their audio format is not supported by this speaker, consequently I had to connect both AUX and OPTICAL from the TV to…

Incredibly Wonderful Sound

I've dreamed of a pair of Klipsch speakers since I was a child. I settled on a pair of R41 PMs and I'm glad I did. The Klipsch sound and build quality is excellent. I can't believe how good these speakers sound. From an audiological point of view, I am shocked. My only complaint is that the remote doesn't have Bluetooth capability - the remote only works within line of sight - what a drag. Speaking of BT, the speakers paired with my iPhone straight away - no problem. My iPhone has never sounded

R-41PM: Great for certain applications.

These little things are cool. It should be noted that I hooked them up to my computer and have an equalizer that allowed me to tune them to the tone I wanted. I mostly listen to metal and use them when playing guitar, listening to music or playing video games. The sound these things can make is amazing. Very crisp and clear, just what you need when listening to metal. However, due to their proximity, I very rarely turn them up to a level that would be considered loud. However, if you're looking

The Best Sonos Speaker is

I've spent so much time researching, ordering and returning so many speakers including this one, the Klipsch R-51PM and the Kanto SYD speaker that I can't even tell you. After comparing them all I settled on the R-41 (I originally paid $399 for the Revain then saw they were discounted to $319 and I'm still working on this return and refund issue). But today I was at Costco with my girlfriend and we saw the $259 Sonos Two Pack Play-1, so we took it home and played with the R-41. No competition…

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • No Form Required

I found them to sound tight without much depth or bass. The stereo field was nothing special. Without punch and body, very flat and two-dimensional. Maybe they are suitable for a small room, sit on a table if you use them as a near field. I use them in a 12x16 living room and they can't handle the situation. They sound okay, but nothing more. They're severely lacking in bass, which isn't uncommon for a speaker of this size. However, they are very anemic and the highs and mids aren't amazing…

Pros
  • Something above
Cons
  • Minor issues

I am very disappointed with most of the soundbars that I have listened to. Even Yamaha. They all try to make up for the poor sound quality with sound effects and it sounds synthetic. like fake hamburger meat. 5.1 is a misleading term as soundbars cannot properly reproduce even simple stereo sound. For true stereo sound, you need to space your speakers far apart, so soundbars are essentially a low-end product. Unless they make a 10ft kayak-sized soundbar. Use the Klipsch active speaker solution.
