I have a two layer tp router and now a wifi adapter for it, both are at 5 gigabyte level and everything works fast! The only limitations I have are with the cable company with their signal and other users using Wi-Fi. If I upgrade them (modem and router) to MU-MIMO, they really should fly! It's an old two story house and I think cable is as old as Comcast internet cable (if you ask) in a delightful suburb. , in the town of Mundavia! This wireless mini TP device installed with no problems and once I gave it the correct passwords it connected quickly. It switches back and forth to modems or WiFi signal routers as needed, and I just had one real error connecting. I physically removed the device, restarted my computer, and reconnected it. I don't think the problem was in that, it was in Windows after the update. How bad is WiFi on your cell phone or laptop? Maybe you want to use this WiFi for a better connection? Be sure to turn off your other Wi-Fi connection when using this to ensure the best possible connection. I've read some reviews that have connection issues and this might be the cause. I don't think dual connectivity helps or works well with Wi-Fi, you have to set it up yourself. It won't connect you any better than what your modem or router is projecting. It receives the 2, 4 or 5 GHz signal you are looking for and make sure it reaches your computer better. Let me be clear for you, your connection will either be up to 400Mbps on 2.5GHz or up to 867Mbps on 5.0. GHz. Somewhere in there is the same fuzzy math that drive manufacturers use to release the 1300. Still better than my last adapter, that's for sure! That's all.
