At the time of purchase I was wondering if this would be a good buy and I can tell you it is. My cat loves being outside but we live in an area with lots of wildlife so I don't let her outside. When I got the backpack I opened it up and left some goodies inside. She climbed in and we went for a walk. She's spoiled and prefers to look ahead rather than back, but this backpack is comfortable either way! Each zipper has a locking mechanism and buckles for carrying. She loves him, she's spoiled, and I love him because she loves him. She even likes to go in when it's open and we won't go. I've seen some people say it smells funny, but when I took it out of the box there was no weird smell. There were straps on the sides to hold it almost like a duffel bag, but that's about all I can say about it. I would unreservedly recommend it to all my friends!
