Holds all knives and is easy to use
There was an old knife block with plastic fingers that just didn't work. The fingers were bent and then the knives didn't slide properly. The wooden case even broke, so I was looking for something that would last. It was very convenient. Pair of screws for attaching the lower part to the vertical part. The wood looks beautiful and all of our knives and scissors can be stored on either side. We have chef's knives, paring knives and paring knives. Even a heavier knife can be held and easily reached. All in all a very good knife block.
