The product description says it's USB 3.0, but it's not. connect four devices to my computer without digging around like a teenager trying to pull off a girl's bra. It does what I expected, but very slowly. I leave it out because the convenience of connecting 4 USB ports directly to my iMac is more important than the speed. When I need speed, I have ports on the back. Other things I would like to point out is that it has an AC power connector on the back, but there is no indication of its power requirements either on the hub or in its instructions. The best I can say about the hub is that it looks great on your iMac. The worst I can say is that when it uses something that has been around for twenty years or more, they lie about it being state-of-the-art technology.
