I consider myself an intermediate skater. I can't do tricks, but I can jump curbs and roll down my street. Based on the descriptions of these skates, such as "perfect for experienced skaters" and "there is no brake on this model to get in the way when jumping curbs and sprinting," I decided they were perfect for me. Unfortunately I was wrong. 30 minutes after driving up and down my street (paved and very slippery) I decided to jump off the sidewalk onto the street. On landing my right rear wheel cracked and splintered as shown in the picture. Luckily I kept my balance and was able to stop fairly quickly, but I would say this is far from the "perfect solution for experienced skaters" and I wouldn't recommend buying it at all as it can be quite a safety hazard. I read some of the reviews and saw a few people with similar experiences but many of them had great experiences. Good luck if you decide to take the risk and get them. Aside from my 30 minute ride in my $60 skates, I would say they are comfortable and I liked being able to resize them to my liking. Guess I'll have to shell out another $30 for better wheels.
