This license plate holder fits perfectly on my 2009 Subaru Forester which has SQUARE license plate holes instead of round ones. Although the description says it's for round holes, my machine is also listed as the one that fits. Yes. As the bracket is plastic it is quite flexible and therefore may not offer as much protection to the license plate as a steel bracket. But time will tell if it's enough. This is obviously better than attaching the license plate directly to the bumper with a few screws (which the previous owner of this car did). I was surprised to see that this bracket has threaded brass inserts for license plate screws instead of plastic inserts or just reinforced plastic screws. This indicates a slightly greater focus on longevity than I expected.
