first. My husband is an auto mechanic and would literally throw away a pair of shoes (they don't last as long as they should). For example, a pair of army-pattern black leather boots for initial training (purchased from a military unit). After 6 months, the shoes came off the sole. I buy about 4 pairs of shoes a year for him to change; so that the shoes last longer than a year. Now to these shoes. He wore them for 3 weeks. He is very impressed with them. He was a bit skeptical at first because they were stiff, they didn't pass his "flexibility" (comfort) test and he wasn't sure they would be comfortable. 1st week, he was happy. His legs, knees and back did not hurt as usual. The 2nd week it rained and it didn't slip or sway when walking on slippery concrete. And just like last week, his legs, knees and back didn't hurt. 3rd week he was very impressed with the shoes. I will update if anything else happens with the shoes.
