This product is not bad, but it is by no means great. The suction cup usually wears out after about eight months. One thing I don't like is that if you attach it to a cold window, the sunlight or thaw heats up the window and it flies out the window due to thermal expansion of the air trapped under the suction cup. If the suction cup were a bit deeper or wider, I think this problem would solve itself. After reapplying at the "new temperature" it works fine again, except the window continues to heat up, which may require you to reattach it. This isn't a typical everyday problem, but it did happen occasionally. This is more of a seasonal annoyance than a permanent problem. Considering the low price of this item I would say it performs well for the price. It's small and unobtrusive, unlike some other "tricks" used to connect GPS systems to windshields. This is a big plus. It hides completely behind the GPS and no longer disturbs the view. If you're looking for a cheap mount that works well for the price, this will work.
