I bought these lift springs for my homemade teardrop trailer. The front door opens vertically, providing shelter from the rain, but powerful gas springs were required to open the heavy door in this way. Not only were these standoffs perfect for raising my wooden door vertically, they came with strong brackets so I could experiment with different mounting angles.
