I LOVE this kettle. Everything in it is great! First of all, he is just as beautiful in life, if not more beautiful than in the photos. Secondly, the feeling in your hands when pouring is perfectly balanced, so there is no strain on your wrist. The size is ideal for making hot chocolate for the whole family. You don't have to boil twice to get enough water. Third, the switch glows a very nice blue when turned on. Fourth, the bottom plate is solid and non-slip. Fifth, the lid is secure enough not to fall out when you tilt it to pour, but not so tight that you have to strain. Sixth, the boiling sound is not as loud as 90% of other kettles I've had in my life and I've had a great many kettles. Finally, the handle has a great design so it doesn't get hot and you never run the risk of burning your hand when you pick it up. I absolutely LOVE this kettle.
