Huge difference
My new large flat screen TV came with solid legs which together extended about 30cm beyond the intended table top. I was able to assemble this stand very easily and it is adjustable. It also looks like part of a TV, so you can't even tell it's an aftermarket, even from the back of the TV it's mounted on. It's very subtle and a lot cheaper than buying a new table for a new TV.
