This is my third iPad mic stand and my last. It's easy to connect and position no matter how I set up my mic stand. My iPad slides in with no fuss and snaps into place just as easily. It holds up even when enthusiastic drunkards crash into a mic stand. The neck of the mounting screw is deep so it takes some time to screw it in, but it doesn't budge once it's connected so an extra few seconds is well spent. I've had both Peaveys which were secure but awkward to position with too many moving parts. Eventually the fasteners failed and I had to tape them in place with Gorilla Tape. I also had an IK Multimeda that didn't last very long. Both others were at least $10 more. This is a great iPad mount.
