First of all I hate breaking in new gloves! I used my last pair for about 10 years until a homeless person stole them off my helmet that I hang on my motorcycle. A pair before that was stolen in exactly the same way! Grrr. First, I used a backup pair of Husky Brand Velcro mechanical gloves from Home Depot. They are not pre-curved and do not feel uncomfortable! Then I ordered them and they were the most comfortable "new" gloves I've ever worn. Arms are bigger or thicker than mine so consider leaning towards a larger size than you think. The seams are excellent, the threads do not run off. How long will they last or last - hopefully a very long time but I will update the review if I run into any issues. Insulation: They're a little not that hot in 80 degree weather, but probably not warm enough below 50 degrees.
