Review on Sungale Wi-Fi Internet Radio: Navigate Thousands of πŸ“» Stations & Stream Music through Popular Apps, with User-Friendly Touchscreen by Joe Kokenge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice device for compact radios and stereo systems

Unique internet radio at a very reasonable price, less than $100. The radio requires WiFi and will not work otherwise. Full touchscreen control with an Android operating system very similar to a smartphone or tablet, including a virtual keyboard if required. You download from a list of streaming apps or internet radio apps. The radio also includes access to your local weather. The radio does not have its own streaming services or its own list of internet radio stations. They rely solely on downloaded applications. If you want to upload your own music, you can do it through the file system. In addition, you can set an alarm and there is an option for audio books. The sound quality is okay with two speakers and a woofer. (By the way, the woofer is exposed at the bottom of the radio, you have to be very careful not to damage it). Since all radio stations depend on apps, don't be surprised by the sickening amount of ads and offers to upgrade to a better and more expensive version of these apps. The documentation is so-so. For example, there is no word on the built-in battery. How long it will take? And how long does it take to charge? As far as I know, there is also Bluetooth. The screen resolution is 272 x 480, not very clear. However, with all the downsides, this is a good set. I'm thinking about buying another set for the quest room. See the Sungale website for instructions.
