I tried to install Linux (Mint 19) on the hard drive, but something went wrong after the installation. If you use the ext4 file system by default, after the operating system starts, the file system will be marked as read-only for any period of time (from several hours to a day) and you will have to reboot. Running a file system check from the operating system installation media did not reveal any problems. Decided to format it to NTFS on a Windows computer and it formatted without any problems. The SP tools under Windows also showed no problems. I ended up ordering a Western Digital and Linux SSD, installed easily and had no problems. I think I'll add something unimportant in case it doesn't want to run on a Windows system.
