I was slightly disappointed when I first used the fan. other reviewers raved about it's light weight frame, quiet noise level, and powerful fan speed. While the first two were certainly true, the fan's efficacy seemed nowhere need another reviewer's 8-feet. The fan was initially effective but nowhere near what I was hoping for That changed when I went to turn the fan off. Hitting the power button revealed two additional speeds that instantly changed my experience. My partner and I use the fan by our bed and even though I am on the other side of the bed, I easily feel the wind current with minimal noise. This is an excellent purchase and I whole-heartedly recommend purchasing it AND hitting the power button more than once!
