Review on Samsung X5 Portable SSD 1TB Thunderbolt 3 External SSD - Gray/Red (Model MU-PB1T0B/AM) by Shane Minter

With regular safe use on my home iMac it died within the first 10 days. I used it for an important video editing project. We completed the project in 9 days. given to the customer. Then on the 10th day there is no connection. I've never come across a floppy disk, let alone take it anywhere. Just completely dead. Then they sent it for data recovery and after 5 weeks of waiting they couldn't recover a single file. Completely lost my video project. As for the drive, however, it was "a little" faster than the $100 6TB external drive I got from CostCo. (laughs) Not really faster. I felt like Samsung could never be trusted and unfortunately I was right. Don't waste your time, money and life with this useless product. Or back up to a secure drive EVERY day. Because tomorrow might be too late. {As an aside, Revain customer service was VERY HELPFUL and gave me a full refund for it. With constant control, care and attention. Very good group of people Revain customer service. Thank you for protecting your customers from Samsung junk.}
