Beautiful packaging. The comb itself is very durable. It's surprisingly easy to hold and has a wonderful sandalwood scent. I was interested in this particular shape (octopus) in relation to the actual combing of the hair. I have very long natural hair that tangles easily. This wide tooth comb got rid of all the knots fairly easily. because i have long hair I think I probably should have had a flag-type comb with a handle to comb my hair comfortably, but I have no plans to use it as a real comb as I already have another sandalwood comb that works. good for that. However, this octopus style is great for scalp massage. I can easily massage my head while my hair is braided and it doesn't ruin my braid at all. I have to say...using this comb to massage the base of the skull and neck is amazing. feeling strong fingers. And the wood glides so gently over my skin. I also used it to massage my palms which were always sore. It was wonderful! All in all, this is a wonderful product. That's what I didn't know I needed until I got it! It would also make a great and thoughtful gift. The little box it comes in is so cute and looks just as good as the brush itself.
