I thought using cables instead of wires "might" improve the sound of my new speakers. Yes, I know that cables are also wires. But the fact that they were constructed this way prevents the wire from corroding which increases continuity. I was amazed at the results, that would be an understatement. I wondered if this was the same system I was listening to. Yes, it has been improved so much. This separated the little fuzzy tones I got with 14 gauge wire. Now it sounds like I'm sitting in front of a band or an orchestra and everything is crystal clear on a cold morning. I will be replacing my monster cable I have for the main theater system with these cables.
