This is a review of the 19 Pro Silver hair mask for all shades of blonde. I really like this hair mask and hair shampoo 19, but there are some limitations. is that I took the shampoo and that together and the shampoo fell out in a soft envelope and leaked - not by much but it made a complete mess. Purple is dark and will leave a large stain on anything it touches. The mask didn't leak, but it was tight... Because of this, I was a little afraid to put it on my hair. I have dark brown hair with a touch of grey. I am fortunate that my gray hair is naturally silver rather than light gray or yellow. However, I was dying to try one of these masks and shampoos as they are supposed to make my hair shinier; it was like this. If you have a problem with your hair being coppery or too yellow, this will definitely make your gray hair look more silvery and will soften any yellow tinge. I went to my hairdresser to try it on me for the first time because I was worried it might turn my hair purple. It's not like this. My hair was incredibly shiny and the silver color was so pretty I got compliments on the street when I got back to my car - it's so pretty. My hairstylist said they looked and felt like they were shiny, like after a cellophane hair treatment. . My hair was also very, very soft. But here are a few caveats from my barber and I. You probably shouldn't be using this mask or shampoo more than once or twice a week, otherwise your hair might remain a little purple. If you have recently bleached your hair and/or have porous hair, you can also get an unwanted purple hue. Finally, wear gloves when washing your hair when applying this as you may stain your nails. That being said, with the above warnings, I loved this mask and its shampoo. The only criticism would be the smell. It didn't really bother me but when she first put it on my hair we both thought it smelled like someone was doing laundry - it has that bleach/clean smell. It doesn't bother me, but it could be for someone. Finally, I have thick, coarse hair that I like to style in waves at the beach. This mask and shampoo made my hair so soft it didn't last more than a few days of beach curls. For me, the look of my hair was worth the compromise.
