Don't waste your money on cheaper versions.
Yes, it's not cheap. Yes, there are other magnetic clips that are much cheaper. But there's a reason they cost less because they don't work. This is the first and only magnetic chalk holder I've used that has a very strong magnet. So powerful that if you point it at the chalk it will literally be pulled off the table from 3 inches away. So strong that you shouldn't put it next to an electronic device. Now just spend the extra money and save yourself the headache. after.
