Kit of Parts

This is a good hamburger press. It's lightweight but looks like an old-school iron press. The material is very non-slip. It's nice that there's a little slider inside, but I have two issues with it. First, it's pretty much useless unless you plan on making sliders, so buy something that comes with something you'll never use. Fine if you have unlimited kitchen space, not great if you don't. Secondly, it is cumbersome to put the small beetle in and out of the press. Even if you decide to use it, you might not want to keep it in a big one. Also, the bottoms in each are removable. I can see what they were doing there, but it's also annoying. If the press is pushed during storage, it may fall out and be lost during storage. Also, there are simply more individual parts that need to be washed after use. All of this to say that this is a great product for what it is, but if I've mentioned features you may not need in a press, you might want to look at a more traditional press.
