Review on Marvel Dice Masters Avengers Building by Bob Trapp

I am very intrigued by this game after playing the evening with a friend. Without getting into the rules here (you can find them elsewhere), I have to say that the level of customization gives this game tremendous potential. It's very similar to Quarrior's, but with a few key changes that give it more depth. First, players must decide not only which heroes to use, but also which "variant" of the hero to play, as well as the maximum number of dice they are allowed to use in total. Open rules allow each player's HP to be adjusted based on the duration of the game. Adjusting each attribute can result in significant differences in games. In addition, the illustrations on the cards are great and the dice are of higher quality than Quarriors. The dice bags are actually just paper envelopes, which was a little surprising.
