Review on Men's MTB Cycling Helmet - Smith Optics Forefront 2 MIPS by Jason Childs

This is my second helmet. I still have the previous one but the visor cracked after a fall a few months ago. I use them for road cycling even though they claim to be MTB. They are good on cold days. They are more durable than road bike helmets and have better protection at the back of the head. All my helmets have MIPS technology. i think it works These helmets are a bit hotter than regular road bike types as they have honeycomb material for protection so there are no gaps at the top like regular helmets. For me, if there are bees, that's an extra plus. I drive on back roads where there are quite a lot of bees, some of the honey farms in the area. I've had more than one fall when they came down from above and stabbed me in the head when I had short hair. Bees can't get in here. On hot days I use a different helmet with more or no vents. I can only recommend this road bike helmet. I don't know how it works for MTB because I don't do it anymore.
