Bought for my 2019/2020 16" MacBook Pro. a bunch of other reviews for smaller webcam covers that were too thick and ended up putting enough pressure to shatter people's screens.Since the entire thin metal piece slides in with its magnets it's easy to use, doesn't interfere with the sensors and fits perfectly inside the top bezel of the screen so it's very discreet I'd say it is about as thick as the rubber that surrounds the screen when sitting flush with it. Anyway, it's the perfect spot for my thumb to rest on the matte texture when I'm adjusting the angle of the screen without leaving fingerprints directly on the screen.
