Don't waste your money
Unfortunately the description led me to believe that this product is dishwasher safe. No, that is not so. I used it once and put it in the dishwasher. The entire coating immediately came off exposing the discolored inside of the metal pot, making it completely unsafe to use on meat due to the risk of heavy metal contamination. I wasn't expecting a solid machined stainless steel hammer, but I also expected it to last more than one use. Wouldn't recommend it.
