I bought this inverter in August 2020 to power two IP cameras, a light and a fan. The VoltWorks inverter is powered by 4 x 100W solar panels with a charge controller and over 400Ah battery pack. In the last hot August and September, the inverter fed the fan and other elements perfectly. In January 2021 (fan didn't work because of the cool weather) the cameras and my hotspot stopped working. I constantly checked the production voltage and the batteries. Everything was fine until today when I plugged in my kill wattmeter and it read 120 volts. Then I clicked on the frequency and it showed 8 to 10 Hertz! WTF? I brought a meter to my house to test, and it read 60 Hz. Therefore, the VoltWorks circuit cannot maintain a constant 60Hz output frequency. Surprisingly, fluorescent light still works at such a low frequency. I didn't expect this device to fail so quickly. I gave 2 stars because it worked well for 6 months.
