Good extra burner

I recently bought a new smooth top electric range. It replaced a 20-year-old smooth-finish line that had a worn cooktop. Since I really want the new cooktop to look good, I figured it would be a good idea to get a portable burner if you're cooking dirty dishes. I chose this induction model because it fits in well with my new range and I already have mostly induction-ready cookware, and it's reasonably priced. If you are unsure if your cookware is compatible, hold a magnet to the bottom of the cookware. If the magnet does not stick, the cookware will not work with this hotplate. I don't have any other induction hobs to compare directly so I'm evaluating this one myself. This is a budget burner so it doesn't have as many temperatures and power levels as more expensive models but I don't know if most people really need it. When the device is turned on for the first time, the power button will blink continuously and the fan will turn on. All of these induction hobs have a fan, which is a bit noisy but doesn't interfere with cooking. If you find that fan noise can be annoying, you might not want to buy an induction fan. The hob only works if you place an induction-compatible pot, pan or frying pan on it. Once your harness is in place, press the power button. The power button LED will illuminate and six presets will appear on the LCD screen. To select a preset, press the menu button to view presets. When you reach the preset you want, stop pressing the menu button and that preset will be selected and activated within 5 seconds. If you prefer to cook by temperature, simply press the temperature button repeatedly until that temperature is displayed on the LCD screen. There are 9 preset temperatures and 9 possible power levels. There's no dedicated power level button, and the only way to select a power level from 1 to 9 is to first select the stir-fry preset, which allows you to select one of the power levels. Cons of this recorder: When plugged in but not in use, the power button keeps blinking. Because of this, I only plug it in when I'm going to use it. Although this burner has 4 legs, only 2 are rubberized on the back bottom; The front 2 are simply molded in plastic which makes it easier for the burner to slide in than I would like. At higher power levels, I hear a high-frequency screeching that doesn't really bother me, but some might find it annoying. The first press of the Temp button selects the highest value of 465. I think it would be better if the lower setting was the default, but that doesn't matter. From a professional point of view I think this is a nice burner. It's priced right and has all the basic features I was looking for. It heats up very quickly and cools down very quickly. Because the glass surface isn't directly heated, there's less chance of getting burned in the mess. It cleans easily. The only thing I don't know is the durability but there is a 2 year guarantee. So far I'm loving it and learning the fads of induction cooking. I would recommend it.
