I've been living offline for 26 years and I'm very familiar with charge controllers and batteries. This controller does not float at 13.7V as configured and instead keeps the batteries at 14.4V which is way too high and potentially very dangerous. We spent almost a day getting it working properly. It was also difficult to make a secure connection to the stranded wire as the clamp only allows a tiny bit of wire to be inserted - I suspect they will come loose quite often. The instruction manual is a bit confusing, but we managed to figure it out. When you buy this charger, be sure to keep an eye on the voltage it outputs.
