Review on πŸ’§ Culligan FM 100 C Faucet Filter Indicator: The Ultimate Solution for Filtered Water on Tap by Tim Burns

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best quality in an affordable filter

I bought a Culligan faucet filter 2 years ago. After many Brita faucet filters ruined my life, I was skeptical. After looking at tons of products and reviews, I decided to give Culligan a try. This review has been badly delayed due to my skepticism, but I'm happy to report that it worked. Pros: I use it for health, not flavor, so I can't talk about it. But I can tell you I'm a little rough with my equipment - neither gentle nor careful - and the Culligan still easily outlasts the Brita. Very easy to install. Even simpler filter change that's easy to find. Robust construction. Very low running costs. Cons: The filter indicator went off almost immediately. I don't need it, so I haven't figured out if changing the battery is possible. I hate batteries anyway, and calendar reminders serve the same purpose. And if I ignore my prompts, the filter randomly pours water out of the faucet (where the filter meets the faucet) because the filter is clogged and needs to be replaced. The chrome plastic coating chips here and there, but that obviously doesn't affect performance. Overall, I'm very glad I came across this brand/model. Now if only Culligan could make these products in a way that made them easy to recycle.
