If you have a pole mount for a large monitor with DisplayPort right next to the VESA mount, the straight connector on the DisplayPort cable will interfere with the mount arm. I have two of these and they work a pleasure. I haven't seen any artifacts or loss of resolution due to this cable. I recommend it.
