If you have spoked wheels like me, this tool is a must. It is a lightweight yet durable palpation tool. I've used it when I've done 1000 miles and it's been perfect for my spoke grommets. Yes you can use a 6mm open end wrench but it is very cheap, has a long length for extra leverage and the end design is similar to a cord wrench in that it wraps around the fastener and provides better grip so you can be sure it does not slip and does not damage the coating of the rim.
