Bar design for poor assembly/disassembly

In a nutshell: removing the tire without any problems, after a lot of effort I was not able to mount the tire yet. The mount/dismount side of the bar is poorly designed and keeps bouncing off the wheel at the most critical point of operation. As everyone says, chew wheels. Long: I bought this because my local port freight always didn't have this tool and their website wouldn't send it to me for some reason. After seeing a lot of information on weak beaded pry bars, I thought it was worth spending $120 for this item compared to $50 for the HF. It's not like this. The bead guard works well (I run 195/60R14 tires) and once I figured it out removing the tires was easy. First thing I did was mount it to the floor in my garage with socket anchors and with that mounting system it's very strong. He chews the wheels pretty hard. I don't care because these are cheap parts for my drift car. What really matters is the absolute rage that erupted when I tried to mount a tire. In total I spent 3 hours mounting a tire with this tool. True anger is not easy for me. Sometimes when I'm working on a car, if something is very difficult, I'll yell once and then it's over. This even happens once or twice a year. I've tried using a different tire brand, I've tried using a different wheel, I've tried smoothing the parts with a grinder to make them slide easier on the wheel because I thought that's the problem, that I may have used an excessive amount of lube (concentrated soap solution), I used a C-clip to keep the tire from going overboard, I even tried making my own mounting/dismounting bar from scrap metal lying around (which was bent ) to produce. Using this tool enraged me so much that I intentionally destroyed the assembly/disassembly bar by repeatedly banging it against the main post until it folded in half. I watched several videos on how to use this type of tool, looked for tips and read the instructions provided. Nothing worked. I would return it if I could, but now I have to accept that I spent $120 on a product that doesn't work as advertised. From what I can see in the video the actual Harbor Freight tool head seems to be better. designed and has a small hook to hold it on the wheel instead of spinning and popping out between the wheel and tire. I think I'll try making the tool out of stronger materials as I still want to use the rest of the system. As far as I can see all the other entries on Revain and the tool on JEGS have the same design as me here so I'm guessing they're all crap. I never thought Harbor Freight would make an outstanding product, what a time to live.
