Easy to use and good to type. I am using this for a language course (25 people) that others are attending via computer. Setup was easy. The sound is of good quality, without wheezing and wheezing. It's metal and not a cheap feel. The cord is a 6 foot nylon rope. Connects directly to a laptop. There's a blue indicator when it's on, and you can mute or unmute the sound by clicking the blue-lit area. It's also the power button, so when everything is plugged in. TIP, if it doesn't work, make sure it's blue. Sounds very simple, but is easily forgotten.
