Works. Good length. Not sure about the cheap looking covering on it.

I use this to charge my security cameras that are about 8 ft. high. I just leave them attached and run the wire down the wall, then connect an extension cord to it every couple months to charge them instead of climbing a ladder. I don't think the one I installed in direct sunlight will last long with this strange covering on them. Looks cool, but I wouldn't recommend using outdoors.
