Review on πŸš€ Enhanced Performance with Fantastic Displays Adjustable Clamp Release by Jason Melvin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Stainless steel is good.: Band Clamps

I bought this clamp to replace the muffler belt on my 2001 Corolla. The ad says you can get a bulk discount of 5 or more, but doesn't say how to get the discount. It's been a while since I've ordered. I think I tried to order 5 and Revain didn't show the discount. So I decided to use 2 clamps. One clamp is attached to my muffler, I keep the other as a spare in the glove compartment. Since the fork is stainless steel, I must never rip out the spare tire. The exhaust system will probably survive. What is in the box is as in the photo. The clamp is twisted tight, with three nylon wire ties (that you cut off) wrapped around it to keep it twisted tight. I didn't cut the nylon straps from the second clamp (it's easier to store) so I can't measure the length to make sure it's 40 inches. I only believe the ad copy. It's big enough to fit in my muffler so I'm happy. The setup was a little bearish when it came to connecting the two ends. However, that's because I'm lying on the ground, crawling under the car and dealing with a hot exhaust pipe. So it's not the clamp. I'm sure it's probably easier to assemble and work the clamp in other scenarios. The "worm gear" (screw) is on a hinge. I think that's what they mean by "quick release". In my particular case I don't need a quick release as I want it permanently on my muffler. It has been going on for several months and will not let go. Overall I am pleased with the build quality and performance of this clamp. Well deserved five stars.
