Didn't work as advertised - didn't work for our application

We ran a trial test painting perforated marks on 6061:1 aluminum. Surface prepared with acetone2. Marked with a Punch3. Remove mark with acetone 4. Paint applied (Sharpie or this product or nail polish) 5. Allow to dry as directed 6. Took a clean finger and tried to remove mark6A. Immediately after the "dry time” as per instruction 6B. 8 hours This product was the last in terms of surface adhesion and durability - mostly washed off immediately after 6A - no Sharpie marker, no nail polish. , wood and paper "-maybe just not cleaned aluminum
