I've been working with this. It was a bit rough. But after washing it was soft and fluffy! I didn't buy this yarn at full price when it came out as I was under the impression from the label that I only had enough yarn for a baby hat. (There's only one pom-pom.) In the end, the local store dropped the price so much that I decided to give it a try anyway. I ended up making TWO hats for myself from 1 ball (head circumference 21 inches). So maybe Caron shot himself in the foot and made it look like it was only good for a little baby hat. The price was too high to justify but for two hats for adults (three for kids if they are small) it's very profitable. I also didn't notice any knots and tangles in the yarn. And I liked the strip. two hats, meaning you have all the colors in each hat.) However, if you make a smaller hat for a child, you may not get all the colors in it unless you make the hat longer.
