These are amazing pigment based pens that work well on acrylic painted canvases (even canvases with very textured paint application) - something I haven't found with any other fine tip markers. They take a while to dry or they will smear, but once dry they are set and subsequent paint or glaze applications will not smear or lift them. And if you have to paint over them, they won't run. I LOVE these markers - they are succulent and smooth and fun to use. I'm finally getting sharp, thin lines in my pictures.
