Honestly it worked well for over a couple of months. Like all cheap paper shredders, it jams over time. The engine runs, but the gears do not turn. It's ok because I can login and clean it up. It is cumbersome and inconvenient to open and work with this paper shredder. After spending a lot of time thoroughly cleaning all the paper, the gears still wouldn't turn. I continued troubleshooting and finally found that the tiny metal drive linking the motor to first gear (looks like a 1" and 1/8" long drill bit) had snapped in half and the gear was gone could turn. lots of work and i was looking forward to getting the thing fixed but it turned out to be a tiny cheap part making everything impossible to fix. In the future I will buy a more durable and higher quality chopper, because it turned out to be in vain.
