I wanted this for my birthday as I borrowed it from my boyfriend and loved it. I don't grind much, but when I do, I grind a lot. It is much quieter than my predecessor.

I didn't know when I bought it that it was a used item. So it was a disappointment when it came. But I have to say that the paper shredder works great overall!

Honestly it worked well for over a couple of months. Like all cheap paper shredders, it jams over time. The engine runs, but the gears do not turn. It's ok because I can login and clean it up. It is cumbersome and inconvenient to open and work with this paper shredder. After spending a lot of time thoroughly cleaning all the paper, the gears still wouldn't turn.
