I installed this drive on an old computer and neither the BIOS nor Windows 10 recognized it. I bought it for a new computer I wanted to build, so I bought it and wrote it on an old motherboard and it's incompatible. Then I installed it in my new build and encountered the same problem. So I bought an ADATA m.2 SSD which works great. I then repaired the EX920 drive and got a replacement. This is where the real fun begins: Before installing the EX920 replacement, I was able to overclock my 9900K to a stable 5.2GHz with all my RGB lighting running and controlled over gigabytes. RGB Fusion software and life is good. After installing the EX920, neither the BIOS nor Windows recognized it. I thought well since the water cooling lines make it so difficult to get in and out I'll just leave it at that. No, it was a bad choice. No more overclocking, no more pretty RGB lighting, no more XMP ram tweaks, no more boot crashes and so on and so forth. I then contacted Gigabyte, thinking the motherboard was defective. Request RMA Well, at this point I began my diagnostic routines. Turn off each device individually. Imagine my surprise when I turned off the EX920 and everything started working again. Good lights I can manage go back to 5.2GHz overclock. life is good again So your experience may be different, but I wouldn't bother with this disc, I would choose something else. Of course, my return period for a refund has expired. and there's no chance I'll be leaving one of those EX920s in my house again, so I'm stuck with a 150m2 hard drive that's useless.
