The needles themselves are good. Love the tips - they are sleek and smooth like the Addi Turbo but have a sharper point and of course I love the red tip (definitely the "happy" part of these needles). The kit does not include a key, but it should be, because without it it is impossible to insert the needle tip firmly enough. When I first tried using them I naively thought they would dress up just fine without a key, so I started knitting only to find the tip of my needle came loose mid-row. Luckily I have a lot of keys from the Karbonz set, so I'll use them from now on, but I don't know where to find the key itself. Maybe a paper clip will do. It seems strange to me that the KP does not include a key with this kit. I hesitated between three and four stars as the box was in very poor condition. As this is a limited edition collector's set, I expected perfect condition and did not receive it. The cardboard sleeve was glued to the leatherette box in four places and it was impossible to remove it without damaging the sleeve. The faux leather box was damaged on both sides. Revain did it right by giving me a small discount which was nice but I'm not sure I would buy from this seller again. The rating only refers to the functionality and processing of the needles.
