Pretty sharp. Good color rendering. I had a Nikon 24-85 lens (paired with a Nikon D850) but got it for more "reach". It would be nice not to change lenses so often on tour. I've argued with myself about the lack of warranty on internationally approved lenses, but I've never had a problem with a Nikon lens. At this price point (less than half the cost of the US warranty version - a steal) if I have a problem with it and can't fix it, so be it. I doubt there will be any problems. I'll leave 24-85 in reserve just in case. This lens is slightly larger and weighs more, but has nano-coating and a constant f4. I am very happy with it.
