BAD: The first thing that struck me was poor packaging, by which I mean all parts are encased in hard plastic and inaccessible. parts except to destroy the packaging. Important? Yes, if you want to return it. Second, the three long flanges on the back aren't machined properly, which means they can rust pretty quickly due to a poor plating process. Third, for some reason the small chrome grip bases don't fit my old Pfister valves so I had to use the ones that came in the package. I was just rebuilding my old valves so I wasted my time and had to take them all out. THE GOOD: The porcelain handles were excellent. They provided the valve key even though I already had it. They didn't supply a key for poppet valves. BAD DESIGN: Danko missed the target. The small chrome feet of the handles are too short. They should have been maybe 1/2 to 3/4 inch longer. Why? Because with these long poles, they lack adequate coverage of the long flanges so that there is no gap when the faucet is closed or open. Mine barely covers the flange when closed and when open you can see the real valve. This is the main disadvantage of their small chrome handle base design. If they made these grip bases longer that would be great. Attached photos for everyone.
