The cord is a foot long, NOT 1.5 feet. 6 socket single color strip
a 1 foot cord is ideal for my purposes as i am mounting this unit under a counter in a cramped area and don't need an extra 6 inches for my setup need. In addition, this is a standard extension cord for 6 outlets, a switch (with backlight). No circuit breaker or surge switch, just a 6 outlet strip. But for $4, what do you want, your money back? It's a good price for what it is and it works well.
