Review on Cutting Genuine Härthwood Chopping Seasoning by Monica Williams

I usually try to buy products that are made in the US or at least not made in China and then wait a bit before writing a review to understand how the product performs. This board fails most measures after a few months of use and the manufacturer recommended applying coconut oil coatings. First of all, the health aspect. The board is not sawn correctly, splinters are sticking out. I thought it might be handmade but a few months have passed and when I try to wash the board I risk getting splinters because the wood wasn't cut at the right angle or the product wasn't finished right. Second, rubbing coconut oil doesn't do anything. It always looks dull and dry. It has nothing to do with the temperature of the water it's washed in, because I'm not stupid to wash wood in hot water. The return period is long gone but I want others to know not to trust this product.
