A nice board for cutting and serving.

This is such a beautiful board. We bought it to replace even more. We could carve a 27 pound turkey on it. I wish the outer groove was bigger to hold more juices. I believe it will take a very long time. It's strong and surprisingly light considering it's a solid wood. Very well done.

Made in China. in kitchen and dining area

Not as advertised. Two stickers indicate that the board I received was made in China (one on a plastic sheet, the other on a cardboard box - pictured. No one should want to buy a board from China who knows what glue or what Sealant gets in my food - especially not at this price. The company should be ashamed of such a fraudulent practice.

Order carefully - and make sure you know the size you're getting!

Overall this seems like a decent chopping board but somehow I overlooked the fact that it's perfect for a dollhouse! I gave it to my son and he doesn't know what to do with something so small. We joked that this is perfect for those doing portion control! I see it says "miniature" in the description. Either I simply overlooked it when ordering or it has been added in the meantime.

Good product, worth the price

Although I really like this chopping board it comes so fresh with no smell and no damage. I really like the patterns on the walnut tree. Then I have to lubricate it. At first I thought it might be difficult, but it turned out to be fun. The included oil is also odorless and works very well on the board. After following the directions and lubricating, my board really shone. I've been using it for a week and so far so good. This is my first wooden cutting board and I'm glad I chose Harthwood.

The best board ever used!

BEST BOARD ON THE MARKET I have been searching and trying to find a board for my kitchen. Then I came across this cutting board from Harthwood. Nicely made but the board needs maintenance

This walnut cutting board arrived in great packaging, I almost wish I had bought it as a gift and not for myself! The board is so beautifully made it really looks like a work of art. I personally liked that it comes as a raw walnut and you have to season the board yourself. I've been using it for a week now and there are no cuts on the wood, it washes well and dries quickly. Health hazard! Do not buy!

I usually try to buy products that are made in the US or at least not made in China and then wait a bit before writing a review to understand how the product performs. This board fails most measures after a few months of use and the manufacturer recommended applying coconut oil coatings. First of all, the health aspect.
