This product is exactly like the evatec flashlight except for 1 issue. The lens cap on the evatec light has a 1/8” bevel machined into the lens cap next to lens. This bevel completely surrounds the lens and I believe this prevents the halo effect that the pocketman light has. The lens cap on the pocketman doesn’t have this bevel and every light in the box of 10 has a very large halo when turned on. The more you try to focus the light beam the larger the halo gets. This is extremely distracting when you are trying to focus the light on something in the dark. By eliminating the bevel the manufacturer was able to cut manufacturing costs, but at the same time ruined an excellent light. I have carried the evatec light for over 5 years with no complaints and I am very disappointed that pocketman ruined a great product. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
